The founder
Vectis was founded by Sorin Decu in January 2026 after thirteen years in banking and finance — investments, credit, retail banking and private banking — most recently in a fiduciary role in private banking at a large U.S. bank. He built Vectis to make AI useful in everyday regulated work: start with a clearly defined task, agree the information and actions involved, and deliver a result your team can test and review. He runs the agents he recommends: Vectis's own operations have run on governed agents since April 2026.

- Our own agent fleet — three agents in production since April 2026 on Hermes Agent, under an AI Use Charter, approval gates, an audit trail, and a supervision program. Our own operations, not client data.
- Vectis Front Desk — a 24/7 phone front desk for independent insurance agencies, built from your approved answers and handoff rules.
- Certified GSCCCA eFile vendor — electronic recording in all 159 Georgia counties.
- An internally tested agent factory for document and intake assistants, including an accepted handbook walkthrough using synthetic data.
